Head gal at Pink Elephant, I’m also an award-winning copywriter (writing is my first love) who’s been a Canadian Marketing Association judge, a marketing and communications vice president with one of the biggest advertising agencies on the planet, a creative director and brand manager for a non-profit, a record-breaking machine press operator (I can bend more steel anchors than you!) and a truck-stop waitress. And I’m a Reiki master.

I spend most days writing (workshops, workbooks, websites, bios, love letters…) at an antique Asian desk, with a mug of green tea to the right of my mouse and a hand-sculpted bowl of crystals (citrine is my favourite) to the left of the keyboard. Happily, I touch-type so it’s no hindrance that E, D, C, M and N have worn away, absorbed into the whorls of my fingertips.

The art in the office is of roses (for the late Grandma Garbas) and Paris (my home in a previous life). The filing cabinet is hot orange and the walls are sunshine yellow. Woven scarves from beloved Tamil Nadu are draped over the chairs, and paperbacks are stacked on the floor, waiting.

The idea for Pink Elephant Academy for Entrepreneurs (sister to Pink Elephant Creative ) came after a trip to India. I’ll tell you all about it, if you like.
